Choosing the lesser of two evils seems silly. Why hit ourselves with a smaller hammer? So ideally, neither. If someone MUST consume cheese or cheese-like products we would say only do so as much as it helps them eat more super healthy foods (like greens for example) and to “step down” to none.
That said, since dairy protein is linked to cancer promotion and cheese is the number one source of saturated fat in the US and fake cheese is also loaded with oil (also fat), which is linked to heart disease, diabetes and other chronic diseases, the question is, “Which disease would you like to risk?”
For us the answer is none of the above.
