This article is an interesting look at why many things we wish would becomes easy and thoughtless (a habit), never do. It is understandably frustrating when we think that things like going to the gym, eating healthy and generally doing things that are good for us should be come easy and they don’t. Turns out, a routine is something that requires effort that you do on a regular basis. The “requires effort” part is what makes it not a habit and also what makes it easy to fall out of the routine.
