Yes! We drink lots of water, both hot and cold, on fasting days. There are some camps who say tea and coffee are fine as long as you don’t use milk or sweetener. Others say that tea and coffee can create metabolic activity and should be avoided.
We tend to be in the tea/coffee is okay camp. Although I have found that I have to be careful about drinking ginger/turmeric tea made from the roots because I will find myself chewing on the root pieces. If I have to chew it, my body has to digest it, which defeats the purpose of fasting.
