To supplement or not to supplement DHA is an ongoing debate in the plant-based world. We will be talking about it in tonight’s (11/17/2020) Ask Us Anything Q&A after receiving a question from a member. While doing some research to see if anything has changed since the last time I looked into it (it hasn’t), I came across the article linked below that does a good job of summarizing the situation and providing the reasons behind the doctors who are pro supplementation and those who recommend against it.
The article is from early 2016 but I did not find anything more recent that disagreed with it.
